Simulador Factura Eléctrica: A Tool to Understand and Save on Your Electricity Bill

Simulador Factura Eléctrica is a free Android application that aims to help users understand the complexity of electricity bills in Spain in a simple and practical way. It is designed for the new 2.0TD tariff with three consumption periods and two power periods and includes a useful timer that indicates the current period and the time remaining until the next one.

The app offers numerous help buttons that explain concepts and usage with real-life examples and allows users to compare bills from different energy companies and tariffs. It explains all the terms of the electricity bill, how they are calculated, and provides consumption graphs to identify which appliances consume more energy, cost graphs to understand where the money goes, and practical tips to save electricity.

To make it more convenient and easy to use, the application fills in all the fields with data from real bills (obtained from the SOM Energía cooperative, but can be modified to fit any bill or company), such as the price per kWh, the cost of contracted power, the electricity tax, counter rental, and more.

Moreover, it has a practical calculator that allows users to simulate the complete consumption of the appliances in their home. They can view the total consumption or that of each appliance independently, as well as the costs for the period indicated on the bill.
